Scientific Approach: why and how
All our activities are being developed in an academic environment. We use a scientific way of working. This means that we interpret single problems as instances of more general problems. As a result, we develop general solutions that are applicable also for other problem instances. In order to improve on quality, we apply scientific research methodologies.
As we advocate the open source philosophy, we want to share our knowledge by making our results openly available to others. Primarily we want to publish our results in international journals and conferences. Besides scientific fora, we want to publish in those media that best reach our target audience.
We select our projects and courses for their high societal impact and relevancy in today's society in developing countries.
